Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc. is launching a social networking site aimed at adult women. Stewart is the latest media celebrity to embrace the Web 2.0 revolution.

Stewart imagines that unlike MySpace, her social networking site will attract women from 25 to 45 years old. Members will be able to share photographs, scrapbooks, recipes with each other. In addition, design experts will be available on line.

"There is no place like MySpace, like Friendster, for that demographic," a Stewart spokesperson said

The social network would be part of the Marthastewart.com Web site.

The community is scheduled to launch in 2007.

MySpace, was purchased by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. last July for $580 million.
